It seems that I was forced to go...shopping, of all things. Then again, I suppose wearing the same uniform for roughly ten years could be seen as strange. That said, I suppose I will be varying my attire somewhat, but I still intend to wear my cloak on occasion.

By the way, Kairi... how exactly is my behavior 'funny' and/or 'cute'? This wouldn't be the first time I've been called either of those, although I suppose anything is better than 'dorky-snorky'.

Ah, so Namine and the replica are gone as well... I suppose that leaves only a handful of individuals at best... Over eighty-five have vanished within the past week, meaning that only a small fraction of the population remains. Is this, perhaps, an exodus? Or some symbolic meaning? I can't be certain, since I still have yet to figure out how people come and go.

On the other hand, at least, with Namine and the replica gone, and presumed to be safe, provided that they're still alive, Marluxia's plans are severely halted. Without the ability to manipulate memories, and the Keybearers, all three of them, no more, it seems apparent that he can no longer progress.

Nonetheless, I know that a minimal amount of scents remain. For now, I can only wonder if there will be a continuous decrease, or if there will be a plateau of sorts...

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if this world became as barren as it likely was before we all had arrived here. I've never seen so many vanish in a matter of two, perhaps three days. To say the least, I'm unimpressed...

Then again, perhaps there is some underlying reason for this. Whatever the case, it is unusual.

Ah, so it seems that Nia has left... perhaps it was for the best, but I won't deny that she will be missed. The Keybearer and Riku are also gone... While this means that Marluxia's plans are useless, this is still a true pity.

Kairi... I realize that this must be devastating news for you. After all, they are your two closest friends.

I only wonder if another sudden wave of disappearances will occur...

One year ago, I arrived here as an empty, emotionless, and all around deplorable being. I will admit that my bluntness, manipulative nature, and general outlook were far from "good", as some may say. Actually, my intentions were nothing short of causing tensions between those close to Riku and others as well... Of course, that much has changed, but its not as if I've forgotten...

In a way, this place seems considerably different. Bakura, Natalia, Shigure, Nabooru, Aeris, and others are no longer present. The few that remain may have lost their memories, or perhaps are a few exceptions. At times it almost feels more empty, though it could simply be due to the fact that nearly all of my associates have left. A true pity, actually.

Then again, there isn't much point in dwelling on such trivial issues. Truth be told, I've become used to this place within a mere twelve months...even its more obscure happenings seem second nature to me now, as well as departures and arrivals...

That said, I've decided to move back into my old room, as I checked, and it isn't occupied. The basement has been secured, thus I won't have to worry about anyone entering without my consent. In other words? There isn't a need to break the ceiling, Kairi...and you're welcome to visit if you see it fit.

Fortunately, quite a few of my things are already there... it shouldn't be too difficult to readjust.

After some thought, I believe that I have enough research to add to my volumes. That said---

For now, that is all that can be confirmed, as, no matter what perspective you have, or what theory you choose to believe, there will always be flaws. Nothing is absolute, thus no matter what, something will seem questionable. Personally, I don't necessarily believe any one theory myself, as there are gaping flaws in each one, but the vacuum one seems plausible enough.

Ah, I recall the last body switch. I believe it occurred after the fight with Bakura, although I was fortunate enough to leave the area, else I, too, could have been caught up in the chaos. Suffice to say, there was mass panic, as well as complete and utter disorder for a few days.

Actually, the mere idea of Saix and Dist the Reaper in each others' bodies was amusing enough, and I believe Nabooru ended up within the body of...Sora, although not the same Sora that is the Keybearer.

Fortunately, it seems that I've once again avoided being caught in such a similar situation. Honestly, being within the kitchen is not only productive, but much more favorable than being within someone else's body, not to mention that I enjoy Kairi's company well enough.

To those who seem skeptical, however, I doubt that the results of this switch will be permanent.

I've managed to acquire at least five books that I haven't read yet, all of a decent length. Perhaps it will keep me occupied until something interesting happens. I admit that, for once, I actually walked to the bookstore, rather than using dark corridors. Surprisingly enough, it was somewhat enjoyable.

Ruby did send me some mouthwash, which I intend to study as well. However, at the moment I am attempting to branch out to a certain degree, books and reading aside. My brief time outside made me realize how musty this basement truly is...

This doesn't necessarily mean that you should expect me to be outside all that often, given that I'd rather avoid being seen by Marluxia or Larxene. Rather, I will attempt to spend more time outside of my room every now and then.

Hm... Impressive. Despite everything, it continues to remain rather slow here. No psychotic antics from Haruko, nor threats from anyone worth noting. Even Marluxia has remained silent and unseen... I myself have been, as usual, wasting away in this basement. While safe, it's been uneventful... Sometimes I truly do wonder how I can manage to spend nearly all my time in here.

Then again, I've been thinking certain things over, a clearly monotonous task. While Yuki's intervention did, in some ways, help, the fact remains that a year's worth of information had to be explained, not to mention that any and all conflicts have only become all the more difficult.

Ironic how something can be helpful, yet irksome at the same time.

Perhaps it would be somewhat relieving if I actually did something productive. The hotel may be protected, keeping Marluxia and Larxene from entering, but I may leave regardless... There are a few things I need to look into at the bookstore, anyway.

Despite everything, the last weekend was interesting, to say the least. Granted, I hadn't exactly been hoping that Yuki would reveal what was clearly none of her business, but I suppose it was for the better. What's important is that no real harm was done, other than Haruko losing all reason to hate Kairi. Though, knowing her, she'll likely continue to out of spite.

That said, being concealed in my room isn't something I'm enjoying. In other words? Yuki, I want you to stop tampering with the basement, as I'm tired of being contained here against my will.

It's been rather quiet as of late... not that I mind, of course. Better to have utter silence than complaints or loud noise.

By the way, Kairi... I heard that you spoke with Haruko. With that in mind, you needn't worry about her; she's not one to be fond of empathy, though, if you did apologize, as she said, that was likely an intelligent decision... even if she wasn't fond of it.

Nia... I've noticed your reaction in Haruko's entry among other things. To say the least... I'm a bit concerned. You see, quite a few people use harsh language, thus, it's rather difficult to avoid. Plus, the recent terms, such as "badtouch" are also things you needn't be concerned with.

That said, if you'd like, I could help prevent such things from appearing on your device.

Hm... I've come to realize that Marluxia could perhaps be more of a threat than I had originally expected. If he were to find my location, he could easily attack the hotel and then... who knows what would follow? To say the least, anyone within the hotel should take necessary precautions, in or outside the building for the time being, less you wish to become a victim to a deranged man with a lust for power...

Kairi, Nia... I'm especially concerned about you two. My suggestion would be to remain where you're at, although I've spoken to you about this already, Kairi.

Sora, Roxas... and yes, you too, Riku... I would recommend locating Marluxia and Larxene at some point, that is, if you intend on facing him. He may not have Namine at the present moment, but even so, anyone who defies him would be considered a person he'd want nothing less than to kill.

Haruko, if it's not too much to ask, I would like to request something of you, and if not, I suppose Yuki would be just as capable...

It has come to my attention that Haruko, among others, are rather perverse around those of younger ages. This could indeed be problematic, not just for our sanity, but for the general... assumed tranquility of this place. True, people need to be educated, but honestly, such blunt terms will only provoke them to behave poorly.

So, while I'm not going to be explicit, I will say this...

Yes, there are certain...things... adults do, but no they are not necessarily appropriate, and certainly not something you should make a habit out of doing.

Words such as "fuckmate", "tops", "uke", "seme", and other phrases that have been stated have to do with such a subject, but I advise you all to ignore such things. The last thing we need is a riot.

Ah... I see. Rather than skipping the holiday festivities altogether, it seems as if they're a little late this year. A pity, honestly, as I'm certain that this could lead to unwanted results. That said, I suppose I'll try and take note of all of the sudden changes as a part of my research.

It's been awfully quiet as of late. You'd think that, given that it's New Years Eve, there would be people musing about fireworks or whatever tends to be used for celebration... It's times like these that skimming the network becomes more of a chore than a form of amusement. A pity, too, as I'd rather watch than dirty my hands with insolence...

Whatever the case, this means that I've been here for eleven months... Come February first it will have been a year... Yet, even after a nearly year, I find myself foolishly clinging to certain things, perhaps out of habit. To that end, hm...

Call me curious, but what sort of resolutions might you (being a general "you) make for this coming year? I certainly have one in mind... something that may very well prove as a bit of relief.

Hm... it's the twenty-fifth, I see, and clearly a "white Christmas". The high abundance of snow can be seen as a blessing to some, or a hindrance to others, although, frankly, I'd much rather be indoors rather than freezing in the cold weather.

Thus far I've obtained one gift, not that I'm all too concerned with presents, but the sentiment was appreciated all the same. Regardless, I admit that I have something for each of my associates.
